Questions for everyone

About us

Ever wondered how others feel about something, but not sure where or how to ask? SenseUs is for asking the sensitive and the sensible questions that matter. Through curated topics, you can see how similar and different your views are from the people around you. Ask, answer and discover: a step towards a better sense of the world around us.

What you can do

  • Answer questions. The heart of SenseUs. Hold the answer that best represents you to lock it in. Not sure? Swipe past to skip it. It won’t come back on Home, but you can still find it in Explore.
  • See results. Once you’ve answered, see how everyone else responded, who asked, and any context they added. Comment, save the question or share it, and choose from Share whether your answer counts towards matching.
  • Ask. Post a question to the feed with two choices, several options or a scale, and see how everyone answers. Weighing a decision? Get a first guess: describe it, and we’ll draft the questions and guess the answers, then share them to hear from real people.
  • Match. The fun part. Compare your answers with a friend through your match code, or join the match pool to meet someone new. You both get a report to talk over.
  • Decks. Your attachment style, your pet peeves, your darkest secrets: themed decks to finish, then compare with a friend, a group of up to six, or the SenseUs team.
  • Explore. Search for questions, browse topics and decks, and see what’s new, what’s popular and how closed polls ended.
  • You. Your rank and next goals, plus everything you’ve asked, answered and saved.
  • Notifications. The bell on Home shows comments on your questions, replies to you, matches and messages from us. Alerts on your phone stay off until you turn them on.

Community guidelines

We encourage creativity and free expression. These rules keep SenseUs a safe place to share an honest opinion.

  • Be kind and respectful. No hate speech or derogatory opinions. Bring your honest thoughts, and do it respectfully. Comments and questions that are reported and found inappropriate or disruptive will be removed. To report a question, tap Share, then Report; for a comment, use its menu.
  • Keep questions clean. There are other ways to say things without profanity. If you need it, keep it to the context.
  • Write clear questions and answers. The question should say it all in plain words, with any backstory in the context. Answer options should be clear, direct and short.
  • Don’t push an agenda. Avoid loaded or suggestive questions with only biased answers. Share your view in the comments, but don’t insult people who disagree.

To enforce these rules, SenseUs may:

  • remove your contribution;
  • suspend your account, temporarily or permanently;
  • add restrictions to your account;
  • remove duplicate questions;
  • move your question to a more fitting topic.
